Pick any language. Learn 3–4 words a day, review the previous day's before adding. Use flashcards or paper. Don't skip reviews.

  • Week 1 — Daily essentials

  • Days 1–7: hello, goodbye, please, thank you, yes, no, sorry, help, good, bad

  • Plus: 1–10, family words (mother/father/sister/brother), common verbs (eat, drink, go, come)

  • Week 2 — Food & places

  • Days 8–14: water, bread, coffee, food, hungry, thirsty

  • Plus: restaurant, store, home, bathroom, street, train, bus, where?

  • And: the, a, my, your (articles matter)

  • Week 3 — People & feelings

  • Days 15–21: man, woman, child, friend, name, age, from (where are you from?)

  • Plus: happy, sad, tired, cold, hot, hungry (if not learned), sick

  • And: I, you, we, they, this, that

  • Week 4 — Action words

  • Days 22–28: want, have, need, see, hear, know, understand, speak

  • Plus: today, tomorrow, yesterday, now, later, always, never, sometimes

  • And: big, small, fast, slow, new, old

  • Final push (29–30): review all 100. Test yourself with no hints.

Day 31 you'll have 100 words. That's not fluency. That's the tip of the wedge.
