2026-04-25 16:30:27

Set a 15-minute timer. When it dings, stop. You will want to continue. Don't.

  1. Day 1 — Your nightstand
  2. Day 2 — One kitchen drawer (pick the worst)
  3. Day 3 — Your wallet or bag
  4. Day 4 — The fridge — anything expired
  5. Day 5 — Medicine cabinet
  6. Day 6 — One shelf of the pantry
  7. Day 7 — Your car's glove compartment
  8. Day 8 — Under-sink in the bathroom
  9. Day 9 — Your email inbox — unsubscribe from 10
  10. Day 10 — The entryway (shoes, jackets, mail pile)
  11. Day 11 — One closet shelf
  12. Day 12 — Desk surface
  13. Day 13 — Drawer of random cables
  14. Day 14 — Phone home screen apps
  15. Day 15 — Day 15 — pause. Revisit nothing. Clean one thing again.
  16. Day 16 — Kids' toy bin (one bin only)
  17. Day 17 — Your computer desktop (files)
  18. Day 18 — Under the bed
  19. Day 19 — Spice cabinet
  20. Day 20 — Mug collection
  21. Day 21 — Tupperware graveyard
  22. Day 22 — Books you won't re-read
  23. Day 23 — The "junk drawer" — you know the one
  24. Day 24 — Makeup or grooming products
  25. Day 25 — Underwear drawer
  26. Day 26 — Purse or backpack
  27. Day 27 — Holiday decorations
  28. Day 28 — One bookshelf
  29. Day 29 — Your photo camera roll — delete 50
  30. Day 30 — Day 30 — donate the pile to one specific place, today.

Declutter is maintenance, not a project. Pick one area per week after this.
