• Earplugs (real ones, not foam)
  Eargasm, Loop, Vibes — any of them. Saves your hearing without killing the sound.
• Refillable water bottle
• Small backpack you trust
• Sunscreen (stick + lotion)
• Phone + portable battery + cable
• Comfort
• Bandana or buff
  Dust mask, sweat rag, hair tie. Do it all.
• One cozy layer for 2am
• Two changes of socks
• Anti-chafe balm
• Hand wipes + hand sanitizer
• Camp setup
• Tent + rainfly
• Sleeping pad
  Not optional at 35 years old.
• Headlamp
• Collapsible chair
• Tarp for under-tent

One rule: assume everything will get dusty, wet, and possibly lost. Don't bring what you can't replace.
